What do you think of this poem?

Im in 9th grade and my english teacher said we could write a poem for 15 points extra credit towards our final grade on our report card. She said it could be about anything. So here it is and could you please tell me what you think?





Winters finnally done and over

along with its cold snow and ice

Now spring has come

and it really is quite nice



Its nice, warm and oh so sunny

we go out side to run and play

and thankfully our nose's arent so runny

The flowers bloom and leaves grow back

and everyhting is beautiful and full of life

this all happens very slowly and carefully

and theres absoulutley no sign of animals at strife



Spring showers make rain in the sky

ready to fall at any minute

Nourishment to the seeds in the ground that underlie

we will soon see the meaning of "April showers bring May flowers"

And so we say goodbye to the snow from the sky

and say hello to sunnier skies by the hour



So winters finally done and over
