My bf's aunts wedding is the 23rd,. ANywho (we've been together for more than 2 yrs) My bf's mom said that theire part of the family is going to wear black and white so my bf is wearing some dress up black pants and a button up with white stipes,and i guess I am suppost to wear black and white or just black too. its like a casual weedding.I went to Forever21 %26amp; saw the cutest dress,now I could'nt find the exact same dress on there website but I did find the same one in a different color, if you click on the link below you can see it,the one I am going to buy is going to be all black, and instead of that thing it has in the middle it is going to have pinkish silver flowers.SO by looking at the one below %26amp;imagining how the one I am getting looks can you tell me what kind if shoes would look good?What color tights or no?Jewlery?It is winter so Idk %26amp;we have snow now help!http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?cat...

Considering the weather and if you live where it is cold, I think I would go with closed toe heals. As for the color they could be black or gold or even silver. Sometimes you can find a shoe that is multi colored. With black the multi colored would look good or a shoe with texture. Nothing overpowering though. Try to get a hand bag to go with them to finish the look. Or one that looks good with them. Remember don't over do it. The bride wants to be the focal point. I would go with a simple small gold or silver necklace. Maybe a ring to match. The only prior experience I have with fashion is that I been female for 53 years.
Reply:Oh looks perfect for a winter wedding. Also, I am glad its not ALL black which can be a faux pas at a wedding. I am not sure about tights- I think they make it more casual. You can really wear any shoes- I would go with a black patent leather.

Reply:Well if you want my opinion, no matter what your boyfriend's mother and family are going to wear to the wedding, black is the color that one wears to a funeral - completely inappropriate for a wedding.



Why don't you go try stuff on? (Boy I hate shopping for clothes to wear to a wedding!)
