Do I need to cover blooming tulips and hyacinths to protect them from a freeze?

It's supposed to snow the next 2 days, and it's been in the 60's for the past week, so I just wanted to keep all the flowers from dying... any thoughts would be appreciated.

No flowers survive a frost, if it snows it doesnt neccessarily freeze, i think we are past the worst frosts now but in England you never know.
Reply:Cover them with newspapers ,plastic bags or even sheets.
Reply:Yes absolutly. the frost will kil them even if its a light freeze.
Reply:yes indeed you should. But you could do it nicely like be able to still enjoy them. Just put something over it at night or at the points of day when it gets coldest
