A Year





Autumn breezes with fallen leaves on the ground,

She whispers she loves me, my heart unwound,

I hold her close, can't live without her touch,

She goes to college, leaving me with not much.



Winter arrives, snow breezes and chills my breath,

Without her, the days and nights seem so long,

I hear her voice, wanting to see her today,

I close my eyes and remember yesterday.



Spring comes, the scent of flowers reminds me of her,

They say I shouldn't trust, thoughts of us a blur,

If she's with me in the end, I'll take the chance,

We can stand up to the test, not laying our love to rest.



Summer takes so long to come, waiting for her plane,

Life's empty without her, something I can not explain,

I see her, my heart and soul begins to stir,

The best day of my life, is any day I spend with her.

Yes, I think you should publish it. Also, I would not use poetry.com, like the other person said, because they are scammers. (used them once)
Reply:I wouldn't publish it but send to the person you wrote it for. It's so sad though that 4 seasons go by and still not with her. sounds like you wait but live with the waiting instead of doing.She might as well be dead if your never going to go see her.it has been a year as last fall came and past. She was searching on site to find her true love as destiny created her fate to go look.But winter came and she felt blue her true love sent her a message although she never new. But constant approaches finally got her attention. Then she realized that this had to be nothing but destined fate. But he did not come out and used fake identification that at first had her in doubt. But then she realized who he was and keep hidden to go along until she could find out his reason. But he was soon to know also the secret could not be hidden. Spring passed like a breeze and they still connected online and both became more aat easr. summer is still here and soon to be gone in a few weeks.Where does this true love stand as she is still here in the end. Are you gonna see her soon or wait until fall. Why continue to suffer when you could have it all. Solitaire is no life. Your life can change in an instant, as it's your destiny to have a wife.She already knows what her choice is and is now up to you. What are you gonna do? Of your 2 last choices follow your fate or put up a fight. Hoping soon to hear from you. A long worth all the wait is now past due. As fate does have an expiry date too. It turns into the present and is now unavoidable to you.Your destiny is here and is now calling you.Fears knocks on the door but knowone is there. Why not? Because faith answered.

Reply:Hmmm I think u shud go for it, when u publish u'll truly find out how u rate among the poets, definately there are people who respond back with appreciation or criticism or pity well to test urself u've the right to publish it and c for urself how u r doing in the world of poets and wat is it that u'd lose anyways? never doubt and never fear just take the risk and go publishing. When u get responses u'll know more of how ur doing. Also if possible publish ur email id below the poem for comments and I'm sure people will respond. Make a different id for such things hahah else ur normal email wud get bombed with so many that u'd want to kill the email thingy lol.
