I will Miss Life
The trees are still growing
Every year it keeps on snowing
The Birds are still flying
But I am dying
The flowers in the ground
The sunshine all around
The holidays I adore
The countries I’ll never explore
The Happy children’s faces
The changing of the places
The vast new technology
Which I will never see
The rising of the dawn
My friends who came to mourn
My treasured memory
My final prayer to thee
If I die before I wake
I pray the lord my soul do take
Do you like my poem?
I really loved it.So sad but so meaningful. It s real the same way I write. It s beautiful and fragile all at once. Thanks for sharing.
Reply:its very basic and follows a very predictable and repetitive rhyming scheme
Reply:it's good, The final verse is a bit generic... but it works well with the poem.
Reply:it is grate and your emotions really show though it does seem like you are living in a chell and the inside is dieing hope for the best
Reply:Stanza's 2 %26amp; 3 don't seem to fit.
Reply:the first and the second part..........are just fantastic
the rest of it is very good.........but i liked most the first and the second part
Reply:master p lyrics
Reply:It's a tragic beauty! It communicates with the senses exceptionally well, and makes the reader feel like you are feeling...contemplative. Very nice! If the reader draws that much emotion from it, then you are a poet...and I genuinely hope that you know it! Keep on writing! You have the potential and talent to be given great success!
:D
Reply:It`s a nice poem actually.Only ghoulish!Sounded really profound until you mentioned technology. It`s a good style though - juxtaposing happiness and brightness with gloom and doom!
Reply:Very touching!
Reply:i think it is good.
Reply:Dear little Jodie, thanks for your beautiful poem, My dear child keep at it' [who knows] bye for now Uncle Denis xx
Reply:It is lovely, but sad
Reply:so... you are dead then?
Reply:Like it!....
somehow, it feels so lonely......
like that you just standing, while everything goes.....
you just kept waiting....for I believe everybody does....
